Driving social impact through design research

The Point CDC

A community-embedded design research project collaborating with The Point CDC to revitalise the annual Fish Parade in Hunts Point. Sociogram mapping, socio-cultural analysis and economic ecology research led to a set of community-led recommendations to strengthen local engagement.

A human-centred strategic study into emergency communication systems at The New School during climate-related disasters. Through surveys, interviews and system mapping, the team proposed a multi-channel communication framework formally endorsed for institutional implementation.
